The Be Mine: Valentine Novellas to Warm The Heart is a collection of romance novellas for Valentine’s Day. Starting with low heat, and rising to steamy!
KU and Amazon only.
Renee Conoulty is an Aussie author, narrator, military wife and mother of two. She loves listening to audiobooks and swing dancing, though not at the same time. Even swing dance romance doesn’t actually swing.
Your story in the Be Mine Valentine Anthology is “Dancing on the Grass”. What was the inspiration for the story?
The setting was inspired by the house I lived in when my children were first born. It was a seven-acre property in Piggabeen, NSW, near the border of Qld and my nephew began running an annual music festival there called Pig Day Out.
I named the heroine after two of my school-mum friends, and her daughter after another friend’s child.
I came up with the idea for a trilogy of novellas about this couple around two years ago and I’m excited that is finally time to tell their story.
You’ve published 13 books. Which main character would be the most embarrassed to get a public Valentine’s gift, and why?
Grace in Catching Onix is the most reserved of my heroines. She would feel embarrassed if the spotlight was on her.
What’s your ideal Valentine’s Day gift?
Chocolate. The answer to just about every question is chocolate.
I’m not one for expensive presents. A box of Lindor Lindt would make my heart flutter (& my mouth water).
