For Australian Music Month, here are five Aussie artists that I’m loving at the moment.

Baker Boy – Since Marryuna was released, I’ve loved the energetic music from Yolngu hip hop artist Baker Boy. His latest song is Better Days:

Alex the Astronaut has been a favourite in our house for ages, thanks to her queer anthem, Not Worth Hiding. We’ve been listening to her latest song, Caught in the Middle.

Tkay Maidza’s Brontosaurus is quickly becoming a classic for road trips.

Amy Shark’s I Said Hi is a brilliant look at mental health and expectations.

And lastly, even though it’s impossible to pick only five (and I didn’t touch any of the classics like Midnight Oil or Hilltop Hoods), here is my favourite Like a Version. Seth Sentry covering Frenzal Rhomb’s Punch in the Face.
